Chris Malouf is the founder and Managing Director of XCountry Mortgage. With over 25 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting, Chris has assisted a number of clients and organizations in making strategic decisions. Chris began his professional career with the National Jewish Medical & Research center. He then moved on to SEC reporting for a $500 million leasing firm. After spending 11 years as an executive recruiter and taking on the role of Vice President of Finance for a ski resort in Colorado, he began his transition into the personal finance industry. In 2015, Chris was approached with an opportunity to utilize his finance background to help families and individuals. What Chris enjoys the most is educating people on how money works and sharing the knowledge he’s gained over two decades to build relationships with families and individuals. As a former accountant who’s managed multi million dollar budgets, Chris offers a highly competent and energetic approach that sets XCountry Mortgage apart from many other mortgage brokers. 

In his spare time, Chris enjoys racing mountain bikes and spending time with his wife and business partner, Heather, along with his two children, Bo and Kacie.

Heather Malouf is the Office Manager at XCountry Mortgage. After graduating from Nebraska Kaplan University, she served as a medical professional for over 10 years. Her gift of helping others inspired her to further assist people with their financial health. Five years ago, when she and her husband Chris were presented an opportunity to help people live better financial lives, she took it, and never looked back. 

When Heather’s not managing client relations or administrative tasks, she enjoys family time with her husband Chris, and two children, Bo and Kacie.
